CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

This policy covers services you book with Hangar 18 Studio: web, GIS, data and design work, and music services such as production, mixing and mastering, artist services and audio-video consulting. This website sells nothing and takes no payments. Every payment is made against an invoice from Hangar 18 Studio.

Your quote or agreement comes first

Every engagement is priced for its own scope and agreed in writing, in a quote, proposal or agreement. Where that document sets out cancellation, refund or rescheduling terms, those terms apply. The rest of this policy applies where it says nothing.

If you cancel

Tell us in writing, by email to hello@hangar18.studio. Cancellation takes effect on the day we receive your email.

• Before work starts: we refund everything you have paid, less any third-party costs we have already committed on your behalf, such as software licences, hosting, studio hire or session musicians.
• After work starts: you pay for the work done up to the day you cancel, plus committed third-party costs. We refund the rest of any amount you have paid in advance, and hand over the work completed so far once it is paid for.
• Sessions booked for a date and time: you can move a session once, free of charge, if you tell us at least two working days before it. A later cancellation is charged as if the session took place.

If we cancel

If we have to cancel or cannot complete the agreed work, we refund in full any amount paid for work not delivered.

Work that has been delivered

Delivered work that you have approved, or that follows the agreed scope and revisions, is not refundable. If something we delivered does not match what was agreed, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will put it right first.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the account or method you paid from, within 14 working days of our confirming the amount by email. Where GST was charged, we issue a credit note as the law requires. We do not refund bank or transfer charges made by your bank or payment provider.
