KUNAL PANDIT

Kunal Pandit is a singer, songwriter and performer from Mumbai. He blends Indian classical music with Western R&B and pop. He started learning music at five from his father, Pradeep Pandit, and was performing on stage by seven. He went on to study jazz and Western music with Raymond Pimenta, Raja Pandit and Xavier Fernandes, and trained in tabla under Mridangraj Suchak of the Ajrada Gharana. His influences include Chris Brown, The Weeknd, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars and Usher, and his songs pair traditional Indian elements with modern pop and R&B. Indian Idol Season 10 made him known across India. Since then he has toured internationally and often works with Neha Kakkar and Vishal-Shekhar. He now writes and sings for films alongside his live shows, and has released more than 20 independent songs.
